Overheatstop

Stop Engine Overheating Before It Starts

Guarantee:
The manufacturer guarantees that the Overheat stop will monitor the engine block temperature and raise the alarm if the temperature rises above the calibrated alarm temperature.
The manufacturer also guarantees that if the unit is installed to raise the alarm and to turn the engine off after 30 seconds that the Overheatstop will do so.
The manufacturer  also guarantees that the Overheatstop will monitor the vehicle's oil pressure sensor and alert the driver if the oil pressure drops too low, according to the oil pressure sensor.
If the Overheatstop becomes faulty during the guarantee period, the manufacturer will replace it, free of charge, and will also pay for the re-installation of the replacement. Should the Overheatstop become faulty again within the guarantee period, the users can choose whether, the manufacturer should replace it again or refund the full purchase price.
The manufacturer guarantee does not include consequential damage due to malfunction of the Overheatstop, faulty installations or inadequate maintenance.
If the Overheatstop is faulty and the user suffers damage as a result, the manufacturer responsibility is limited to the purchase price of the Overheatstop.

The unit carries a 1year guarantee from installation date.
If a vehicle with an Overheat stop in it, is sold within the guarantee period, the guarantee will remain valid as long as the transfer of the guarantee to the new owner is registered with us.

Guarantee on installation:

The manufacturer itself does not guarantee the installation process.  This is done by the installer.
Actions that will lead to cancellation of a guarantee:
1.    If an Overheat stop unit's number has been tampered with.
2.    If there are signs on the Overheat stop box that an attempt has been made to open the box.
3.
If the Overheat stop is installed in another vehicle other than the originally vehicle registered with us.

Activation of Guarantee:
Note, that the guarantee must be activated, by completing the warranty activation slip within five working days after buying the OHS unit, and sending it to us, or by sending a photo of the invoice or by sending us a details message on our website with the relevant information: Name, Surname, Cell, Email, Date of purchase, Vehicle registration, make and model.

If this has not been done, then there is no valid guarantee.

Guarantee claims procedure:

If the owner suspects or finds that there is something wrong with the OHS, he should first check with us via WhatsApp at 0836438090 that the unit is still covered under an active guarantee.
After we confirmed that the unit's guarantee is still valid, the vehicle, with the unit in it, can be taken back to the installer. The complete Overheat stop can be removed from the vehicle and it can be sent to us (by Pudo).  We will then test the OHS.  If it is faulty, the replacement unit or repaired unit will be returned to the owner by Pudo.
We will then bear the cost of the Pudo in both directions. We will also pay for re-installation of the replacement unit. If we find that the unit is not faulty, we will inform the owner. The unit will be returned to the owner at his / her cost.
If the Overheat stop is no longer under guarantee, it can be tested and repaired or replaced. In this case where the unit is not covered by a valid guarantee, the owner will be responsible for the costs.
